DNA promotes digital inclusion

DNA is the main partner of HelsinkiMissio, Hope and SOS Children’s Village Finland. Our cooperation is aimed at promoting digital inclusion in Finland. On this page, you can read more about some of our charities.

DNA is the main partner of SOS Children's Village

Sometimes, parents are unable to care for their children alone, or children are at risk of losing their parents' care. The SOS Children's Village helps these children. As the main sponsor, we at DNA support the operations of SOS Children's Village in many different ways, both financially and by providing telecommunications connections.

DNA's and SOS-Lapsikylä's partnership dates back to 2011. In 2018, for example, DNA donated EUR 10 to SOS-Lapsikylä for each phone recycled at a DNA Store in late November and early December. The drive collected a total of EUR 72,000 for SOS-Lapsikylä’s hardware budget.

HelsinkiMissio works to decrease loneliness in Finland

To HelsinkiMission, DNA provides financial support for the organisation’s work to mitigate the loneliness of the elderly. DNA’s sponsorship is channelled to digital assistance for senior citizens, i.e. personal assistance intended to help those who want to improve their digital skills.

Hope ry helps low-income families in Finland

With Hope ry, DNA has agreed to donate devices for low-income families. DNA’s sponsorship will be directed according to the needs reported by Hope and will enable the charity’s work for the benefit of families with limited means. In 2019, DNA donated the sum reserved for Christmas gifts to Hope ry.

DNA supports the reconciliation of work and family life

Mothers in Business empowers mothers to reconcile career and family, to search for their vocation and to make bold decisions in working life based on their own and their families’ needs. DNA is the first national partner of the association.
