Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2025!

Instead of Christmas gifts, DNA is also this year supporting families in need through the valuable work of our long-term partner, Hope ry.

A Christmas donation for families

For years, DNA has made a Christmas donation to charity instead of handing out gifts to our partners. This year we are spreading Christmas joy to low-income families with children, and our donation goes to Hope ry.

DNA has been Hope's partner since 2019. In 2023, Hope helped approximately 9500 families and the more than 22,000 children and young people living in them.

Want to help?

Hope's activities are based on volunteer work. You can participate in spreading good by donating children's clothes, goods or toys that are in good condition and clean – or by volunteering, for example, by sorting clothes. Hope's clothing and goods donations are delivered to families with children that are low-income or have experienced sudden crises.

Even a little help is enough! I am happy to say that the willingness of Finns to help has increased lately – people recognize that times are difficult, and many want to do something concrete for it if they have the opportunity to do so.

– Eveliina Hostila, Executive Director at Hope ry

Shared fairy tale moments for the whole family

DNA and SOS Children’s Village want to offer all families fairy tale moments spent together with unique contents and remind us of the importance of fairy tales in children’s development, not forgetting the significance of time spent together in the otherwise busy daily life.

Everybody must have an equal opportunity to cope in a digital society

This year we have supported promotion of digital equality and in this way prevented exclusion with our important partners SOS Children’s Village Finland, HelsinkiMissio, The Finnish Association for the Welfare of Older Adults, Hope ry and Save the Children.
