DNA's Digital Life and School Surveys

For over a decade, DNA has been developing its understanding of customers and their needs, the market, as well as technological developments and phenomena through research and studies.

The Digital Life research investigates how Finns use various digital services and how digital equality is perceived, while School Survey explores phenomena related to children's and youths use of smart devices.

Supporting Navigation in Digital Life with Digital Skills Playing Cards

It is important to ensure that young people have sufficient skills for the safe and smart use of digital devices. However, the skill levels of young people's digital competencies vary, which is why it is essential to provide them with support in navigating their digital lives. DNA's and Plan International Finland's playing cards are an excellent tool for practicing digital skills in schools – and why not in other contexts with young people as well.

Connecting you to what matters most

We have an important task that we carry with responsibility and pride. High-quality connections and devices, digital skills and inclusion are a necessity for both consumer and corporate customers in the digital world. DNA is responsible for providing network connections and services to millions of people, and we want to do our job well.

However, to us, sustainability means much more. We do better than we are obliged to do. We invest in people’s wellbeing and create a sustainable connection with the environment. We take good care of our customers, employees and those in society who need assistance.

DNA's Sustainability Programme

Our sustainability work has five cornerstones: straightforward sustainable partner, humane and one-of-a-kind place to work, digitally inclusive Finland, moving data within planetary boundaries, and safe and secure services. The program is based on a materiality analysis done in 2022 and has been re-evaluated as part of Telenor's Double Materiality Assesment (DMA) process in 2023 and 2024 in accordance with the new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. Telenor's DMA can be found from their latest Annual Report here.

to bravely pursue their ambitions. Everyone at DNA helps us achieve our sustainability ambitions.

Digitally inclusive Finland
