Oma DNA mobile application accessibility statement

This accessibility statement concerns the Oma DNA mobile application’s accessibility. The Act on the Provision of Digital Services applies in this service. This means that services that the law concerns must be accessible to all.

The statement was written on 27.6.2025.

The accessibility of this service was reviewed by a third-party expert organization.

Accessiblity status of the service

The service meets the accessibility requirements partly.

Non-accessible content

There can be PDF files that are partly not accessible.

  • Screen readers and other aid tools might miss some important facts, because all the fields are not technically named correctly. (WCAG 1.3.1 Info and Relationships)

  • Screen readers might read some content in an illogical order. (WCAG 1.3.2 Meaningful sequence)

  • With phones, the application only works vertically. Horizontal view only works with tablets. (WCAG 1.3.4 Orientation)

  • In some input fields, some errors are indicated only with colors. Because of this, some information of error messages isn’t conveyed to all users or aid tools. (WCAG 1.4.1 Use of color)

  • All functions cannot be used or done using only keyboards. All links on the service cannot be opened with aid tools. (WCAG 2.1.1 Key)

  • Not all error messages provided by the service are accessible. Some error messages disappear automatically. (WCAG 2.2.1 Timing Adjustable, WCAG 4.1.3 Status Messages)

  • Keyboard users may find the navigation order illogical in some cases. (WCAG 2.4.3 Focus Order)

  • Keyboard users may have difficulty finding the location of the cursor in some situations, as the colors defined by the platform may have insufficient contrast. (WCAG 2.4.7 Focus Visible)

  • The ability to log out of the service by shaking the device cannot be disabled. (WCAG 2.5.4 Motion Actuation)

  • The language of all content is not specified. (WCAG 3.1.2 Language of parts)

  • Most text input fields do not provide error messages. (WCAG 3.3.1 Error Identification, WCAG 3.3.3 Error Suggestion)
