Addressing children’s concerns

Children are now being exposed to scary things and they may have to see frightening pictures and programmes. How to alleviate the fears and worries of little ones? Our partner Protect Children provides practical instructions on how to address children’s concerns by paying attention, listening to the child and talking with them about what is going on. The Protect Children specialists have produced  also an activity booklet for 4-9 years old children. Children can work on the booklet by themselves or with an adult. The story and the activities give an opportunity for children to think about their own feelings. The booklet is now translated in English, Swedish and Ukrainian. It will soon be translated in Norwegian, Italian, Polish and Russian, and the translation work will continue.
