We are looking for an MDM Solution Architect for our Data, AI and Integrations unit in DNA. This is a permanent position based in Helsinki, with flexible remote work options anywhere in Finland. To keep our team spirit strong, we enjoy getting the team together every now and then! We organize regular in-person planning days and value the energy that comes from working side-by-side occasionally.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As MDM Solution Architect, you will be in key role in building and fulfilling our long-term targets for effective operative and analytical master data management. Together with our enterprise architecture, data and analytics teams, and operative system teams, you will be developing and defining the target state for our MDM system, related integrations and data management functionalities. You will also get to have an impact on our internal processes and ways of working for improved data practices.
Our multi-domain solution is built around Semarchy xDM platform, containing both operative and analytical functionalities covering multiple internal business units and use cases. As an MDM Architect, you will have a hands-on role in developing both the system and operative capabilities while solving practical business problems. Main responsibilities include:
Overall solution architecture as part of our overall enterprise architecture
Master data management related process and solution development with our skilled MDM team
Master data modeling
Integration and API specification, testing and development together with our integration teams
Overall improvement of data management and governance practices together with our key business stakeholders
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
To succeed in this role, we are looking for a proactive and skilled professional with the following qualities:
Ability to grasp the enterprise wide big-picture, and MDM systems role in enterprise architecture both from technical and operative perspectives
Skills and vision to assess both the technical and operative impacts, risks, and possibilities of different solution alternatives and approaches
Strong experience (5+ years) and technical skill in MDM system development and architectural design (Especially Semarchy xDM platform, but also other MDM tools and platforms seen as beneficial)
Experience from ETL, REST API and event-based integration specification, development and testing
Excellent communication and team working skills
Understanding of agile data development practices in multi-domain environment
We use both Finnish and English as working languages so fluent written and spoken Finnish and English skills are required.
Any of the following experience also seen as beneficial for the role:
Development of data governance practices, data catalogs and semantic layers
Understanding of cloud data services and technologies
Understanding of DataOPS and DevOPS processes, test automation
Proficient use of AI tools and agentic workflows
ERP, CRM, BSS, and other operative system development roles
Other data warehouses, data vault and lakehouse related solutions and modeling practices
This position requires an approved statement of security clearance.
